My approach to coaching can be summed up in the words of the poet, Mary Oliver, who said:
“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”
Together, we will explore this question with curiosity, heart, and humor, and you will create strategies for changing your work or personal life. The challenge: dare to risk going after your dreams!
A song that describes coaching is
Don’t Fence Me In, by Cole Porter. Coaching provides a wide open space to explore, without fences limiting who we can be.
"Ellie is an incredibly kind, compassionate, insightful, wise woman who I had the pleasure of working with over this year. I was going through a very rough transition and Ellie's coaching style, level of professionalism and practical next steps provided great support through my transition. She helped me to really clarify what I wanted and we agreed on actions I would take after every session which helped me move forward. She made me feel completely comfortable in a trusting environment. Through a combination of tactical guidance, visualization exercises, and clear action steps, I was able to set goals and actually achieve them. If it weren't for Ellie, my transition would have been so much more confused, clumsy, time consuming and difficult. She is a wonderful guide and coach and I cannot recommend her services enough! Thanks again for all your help, Ellie!"

"It is hard to describe in words (but I will try!) how helpful and supportive Ellie has been as she has worked with me on a major life and career transition. She provided a safe and constructive space in which I was able to think through and develop a series of long-term goals for myself and my career. She then worked with me to create shorter-term action steps to ensure that I was not only moving toward my goals but also appreciating my own achievements and growth along the way. One of the best parts of my experience with Ellie was her ability to adjust her coaching style and strategies to both meet my needs and help me effectively work through a variety of situations. I am excited to continue working with her!"
